What is Junk Journaling?

Junk journaling is sweeping the nation, at least on my fyp! I have recently started to scrapbook and fell in love with paper crafts so when I heard about junk journaling, I was excited to add this craft to my list of hobbies. Junk journaling involves gluing, pasting and curating pieces of "junk" onto a page. This could be receipts, tickets, stickers, packaging etc. and you place them together to create an aesthetic (or not) page. Think of it as scrapbooking or collage with mostly found items that don't necessarily have to tell a story but often do of you day or travels because of the junk you found along the way.   

Little did I know it would start to influence my business and artistic style. I now have photo stickers and am thinking about my products in terms of using for these paper craft hobbies. Since I am just starting, I don't think I am an expert in this craft so I will recommend some of my favorites below!
